Our Community Hubs
Rentu Community Hubs - Based Locally, Serving Nationally
Rentu is a community-powered rental marketplace accessible to everyone, everywhere across the UK. Whether you're in London, Edinburgh, or anywhere in between, you can join our platform to rent what you need and list what you don't use. However, our community hubs are where we're based locally - running pop-up stalls, attending community events, and building face-to-face relationships within our home communities.
How Our Local Sharing Communities Work
As locally-based community builders, we're actively on the ground in each area, promoting sustainable living and the circular economy through:
- Pop-up stalls at local markets and community events showcasing rental benefits
- Face-to-face support for neighbours exploring eco-friendly rental options
- Local partnerships with environmental groups and sustainability initiatives
- Community workshops about circular economy, reduce waste, and sharing economy principles
- Grassroots outreach to build awareness of renting instead of buying
Our Hub Communities
We're based in and actively building sustainable sharing communities across:
- Warrington/Runcorn/Frodsham - Our founding community where we first developed our grassroots approach-
- Northwich/Middlewich - Expanding our sustainability mission to neighbouring communities
- St Helens/Widnes/Wigan - Building sustainable communities north of Warrington
- Chester/Ellesmere Port - Supporting sustainable living in West Cheshire
- The Wirral - Connecting communities across the peninsula
- Sandbach/Crewe - Building sustainable sharing networks in South Cheshire
- Macclesfield/Greater Manchester - Our largest community promoting circular economy across the region
- Wrexham/Llangollen - Extending our mission into North Wales
Rentu is available nationwide, but these are our home communities where we're based and championing sustainable sharing locally.
